Responsible use of chemicals in all production processes

No harmful chemicals! Thanks to ZDHC MRSL list of banned substances.

MRSL stands for “Manufacturing Restricted Substances List” and refers to a catalogue of chemicals that are prohibited, or that may not exceed strict concentration limits throughout the complete production process.

Working with the ZDHC (“Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals”) initiative, we have developed a standardised ZDHC MRSL that allows us to pinpoint all relevant substances and thus prevent potential harm to people and the environment in advance.

Shared sustainability standards in the textile and footwear sector are the foundation for continuous improvement of chemicals management in partnership with suppliers.

We make the guidelines of the ZDHC MRSL a mandatory requirement for all partners involved in the production of our materials such as fabrics and other product components.
We use wastewater tests, which are conducted as spot checks by independent laboratories at individual production sites across the entire supply chain, to monitor compliance with the ZDHC MRSL.
