Leave your footprint at Jack Wolfskin

What do you need to leave a footprint? That’s right, a firm footing! And that’s just what we give our employees, because they’re the ones who support our shared success. We can only stand out from the crowd as an innovative brand for perfect outdoor equipment when we stand together. Therefore, we not only need followers, but also pioneers – brave summiteers with a fine intuition for trends and comfort – for everything that we experience outdoors.

At home in Hesse

Our company headquarters in Idstein is in the middle of the beautiful Taunus mountains, approx. 45 km from Frankfurt Rhine-Main, offering a high quality of living and excellent transport connections.

Located in the picturesque surroundings of the Taunus mountains, Idstein, as a regional centre with 30,000 inhabitants, provides a balanced infrastructure and is well connected to Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and the rest of the Rhine Main region via the motorway and local rail network.

Idstein and surrounding area – a dream come true for sports enthusiasts

Many of our colleagues live in Idstein and the surrounding area and actively take advantage of the cultural and sports opportunities on offer in the immediate vicinity and surrounding area. This makes Jack Wolfskin perfect for sporty individuals who love the great outdoors.

It’s cyclists and motorcyclists who really get their money’s worth in the Taunus mountain range. Along the Hochtaunusstrasse, which snakes idyllically through the Taunus, numerous country inns and wineries invite you in to relax. Climbers, runners, glider enthusiasts and golfers will also find a range of opportunities on their doorstep.

The Taunus boasts numerous towns and villages with historical centres, castles and stately homes and events both large and small, such as the annual jazz festival in Idstein or the Hexenmarkt (medieval witches’ market). During the summer, there are also many famous wine festivals, such as those in Mainz, Wiesbaden or Ingelheim. The Rheingau, with its renowned wine-growing area, the Aartal and the Lahntal meet not far from Idstein, creating a treasure trove of possibilities for canoeists.
